KC Trailblazers is a West Virginia based, high energy, hiking group. We hike predominantly in State Park's and State Forest's throughout West Virginia as well as bordering states. Although we are a hiking club, we also like to participate in other outdoor extra curricular activities that are in keeping with our values and beliefs. There are no membership fees or dues. We are a voluntary nonprofit organization. Our hiking season begins in mid to late April and ends in mid to late November weather permitting. Our itineraries include a fitness hike every Wednesday and select weekend camping or day trips every month. The weekend trips are scheduled in advance for the season and this calendar can be accessed at the members web site The Wednesday fitness hikes are permanently held in Kanawha State Forest, Charleston, WV.
KC Trailblazers is a nonprofit volunteer organization. There are no membership fees or dues. Members pay for incidental costs incurred individually. Whenever possible expenses are shared to help defray costs. This web-site was designed to provide an overview of the hiking group. Parties interested in becoming members are encouraged to join trough our Yahoo web-site.
